Directions to the EDO Offices, Putnam Place and Riverfront Park
The Fitchburg Economic Development Office is located at Putnam Place, 180 Boulder Drive. Signs to the Registry of Deeds will lead you to our offices. Please scroll below for directions to Riverfront Park.
From within Massachusetts: Take Interstate 91, 190 or 495 to Rte. 2. Take the Rte. 12 North exit (31B). Travel north on Route 12 for 2.8 miles, then turn right immediately after Enterprise Car Rental. Turn left at the next set of lights onto Main Street. Staying in left lane on Main Street, pass through one set of lights, turn left at the Fitchburg Public Library onto Newton Street. Putnam Place is directly ahead. If you are facing the building while in the parking lot, we are located to the right (non-refurbished part of the building). The entrance is on the right side off of the parking lot. We are located on the first floor.
From New Hampshire: Take Rte. 12, 13 or 31 to Fitchburg's Main Street center.
By bus or train: Daily MBTA trains to and from Boston stop on Main Street in Fitchburg. Walk up Main Street, then follow Boulder Drive to the left where the road splits. Trailways buses from Pittsfield, Springfield and Worcester also stop on Main Street near the MBTA Station. Buses from Boston stop at the intersection of Rtes. 2 and 12. Cab or local bus service to the college is available from that stop.

Riverfront Park: Follow the directions above to Putnam Place. However, while on Main Street you will take the first left at the lights onto Putnam Street and then left onto Boulder Drive. Riverfront Park is located on the right, after and behind Fitchburg Tire. Parking is located in the parking garage on your left (while still on Boulder Drive.)
